54•40 have always opted to go their own way by making records that feel natural in relationship to their time, their place and their mood. In 1986 the Vancouver quartet created their self-titled album known to fans as the Green Album. It featured the classic signature tracks "I Go Blind" and "Baby Ran." They then went on to produce such classic tracks as "One Gun," "Miss You," "One Day In Your Life" "She-La" "Nice To Love You", "Ocean Pearl" "Love You All," "Lies To Me" and "Crossing A Canyon".

After more than 20 years of consistently creating some of Canada's most recognizable and memorable classic alternative rock, the latest chapter in the history of this prolific band is the release of their eleventh studio recording Yes To Everything.

Yes To Everything was produced, recorded and mixed by Warne Livesey (The The, Midnight Oil, Matthew Good) at Bryan Adams' The Warehouse studio and The Smilin' Buddha Enjoyment Complex which is 54•40's studio in Vancouver.

Yes to Everything also marks the beginning of a new chapter for 54•40 as guitarist Dave Genn is now a permanent member of the band. Longtime band-mate and good friend Phil Comparelli has passed the axe duties on to Dave with his blessing. Dave Genn is best known for his six years spent with the Matthew Good Band.

“Easy to Love”, the opening track and first single is not only appropriately titled, it sets the tone for what is undoubtedly one of this years finest rock releases. Other standout tracks include “Golden Sun,” “Stop Line,” “Beautiful Self” and “Calling You Out.” It’s all here, crunchy guitars, addictive hooks, a rock steady rhythm section and Neil Osborne who possesses one of the most distinctive and recognizable voices in modern music.
